WHAT AIRPORTS ARE CLOSEST TO WHISTLING STRAITS?
General Mitchell International Airport, Milwaukee (MKE) - 64 miles / 1 hour
Austin Straubel International Airport, Green Bay (GRB) - 67 miles / 1 hour
O'Hare International Airport, Chicago (ORD) - 134 miles / 2 hours
WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED TO/FROM THE AIRPORT?
Yes, transportation will be provided if you are flying in.
ARE THERE SHUTTLE SERVICES ON PROPERTY?
There is complimentary shuttle service for hotel guests offered throughout the Village of Kohler, including Blackwolf Run, on demand. Shuttle service to Whistling Straits operates on an hourly loop. The shuttle will leave the American Club at the top of every hour (7am, 8am, 9am, etc.), and heads to Whistling Straits. The shuttle will depart Whistling Straits at the bottom of every hour (7:30, 8:30, 9:30, etc.). Additionally, between 1pm and 10pm, shuttles will depart The American Club every 30 minutes, and between 1pm and 9:30pm shuttles will depart Whistling Straits. A detailed Transportation schedule will be included in your welcome packet..
CAN I SHIP MY CLUBS TO THE RESORT?

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
Golf Dress Code: Appropriate casual attire is requested on the golf course. Soft spikes only, please. Denim is discouraged on golf courses.
Dining Rooms: Resort upscale attire is requested in the dining rooms of The Immigrant and The Wisconsin Room. We kindly request that guests adhere to our upscale dinner, business, or cocktail attire dress code. We ask that guests refrain from wearing t-shirts, hats, short sleeves, shorts, athletic or athleisure wear, and ripped or torn clothing inside the dining rooms. For gentlemen, we require long-sleeved collared shirts or sweaters, along with closed-toed shoes. Blazers are optional but welcome. Other outlets such as The Taverne and Horse and Plow are more relaxed dress code.
CAN I TAKE A GOLF CART?
The Straits Course is a walking-only course, and Caddies are included in your round. The River Course, Meadow Valleys, and The Irish Course do allow golf carts, and are included in your round. The Baths at Blackwolf Run, is a walking Par-3 course.
DOES WHISTLING STRAITS HAVE CADDIES?
Yes, only at The Straits Course. Caddies (fees and gratuities) are covered for your round at The Straits Course.
CAN I USE A PULL CART?
Bandon Dunes has complimentary pull/push carts available.
WILL THERE BE ANY OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS?
During the official dates of the program, expenses associated with overnight accommodations, sponsored meals and activities will be covered for you. Incidental charges (i.e., meals not listed on the official program, room service, dry cleaning, phone calls, faxes, business center charges, etc.) incurred during your stay will be at your own expense.
WILL I BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TIPS OR GRATUITIES?
We’ve got it covered! All tips and gratuities for hotel porterage, housekeeping, and sponsored activities are included. Gratuities for additional activities or services outside of the program are at your own expense.
